Let’s Help Rush Limbaugh With This Whole Movies With the Word ‘Slave’ in the Title Thing

Conservative talk radio personality Rush Limbaugh has some thoughts about Academy Award Best Picture winner “12 Years A Slave”:

“If it was the only thing that movie won, it was gonna win Best Picture. There was no way. It didn’t matter if it was good or bad. I haven’t seen it (Of course not. Why do that when you already know everything about it). It was going to win. It had the magic word in the title, ‘slave.’”

We’ve run the data.

The data shows that exactly one movie with the word “Slave” in the title has been nominated for best picture and won. Yup, that would be the one that won this year.

Once again, Rush shows himself to be a totally ignorant ass.

A weird thing about the list of movies with Slave in the title that didn’t win, was the the predominance of titles that implied sexual exploitation of white girls. Almost none of them had anything to do with the actual slavery experience that lasted in this country for centuries. There are a lot of stories out there to tell.

I knew people who hung on his every word and quoted him verbatim as if they had suddenly found truth.
Rush has never met truth or honesty or even facts. He is in his own made up world and he sells that world daily to twisted up fearful idiots who also have never met truth or honesty or facts. He sells stupid to stupid and laughs all the way to the bank. One day the bottom will fall out of his bucket and the world will see him for the hate filled lying creep he truly is.

I can see why the film winning bothers Rush. It reminds him that the bad guys in the film were people like him and he knows despite what he claims to his ignorant listeners that it was right wing fanatics that wanted to keep slavery legal.

To be fair, there was a huge uproar in Hollywood because of the Oscar snub of “Slave Girls From Beyond Infinity” in the 1980s.
